Evelyn P. Martin, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, died Thursday, December 1, 2011. She is survived by her sons, William D. Martin and wife Dotty of Silver City, NM, James E. Martin and wife Lynda of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Barbara A. Baderman and husband, Daniel of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Leslie Cook and husband, Ron, James E. Martin Jr. and Tammy, David A. Martin and wife, Ellie, and David Daves; great-grandchildren Martin, Kayden and Haley; and sister, Virginia Anderson. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Martin. Mrs. Martin was a longtime member of St. John's UMC. She worked for many years at Sears. A service will be held Tuesday, December 6 at 10:00 am at French - University Chapel. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul, Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French - University Chapel on Monday, December 5 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
