Mr. Everett Charles Shriver

Everett Charles Shriver, age 95, of North Royalton, Ohio, beloved husband of the late Helen Elaine Shriver (nee Nicholson) who passed away in August 2010; loving father of Donna K. Fittro (Joe) of Strongsville, Ohio and Carol Hibbs (Don) of Toronto, Ohio; dear grandfather of Darla Carle (Ken), Robert "B.J." Hicks (Alethea), Carolynn Fittro, and Kattie Harsh (Troy), and great-grandfather of many. Born May 23, 1916 in Empire, Ohio to Joseph and Gertrude (nee Swan) Shriver, Everett was a United States Army veteran of World War II and was retired from the Weirton Steel Co. of Weirton, West Virginia after 40 years of employment. He passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Memorial contributions may be forwarded to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44119. Funeral service Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Parma Baptist Church, 12193 West Pleasant Valley Road, Parma, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M. Interment with military honors will follow at Woodvale Cemetery in Middleburg Heights.
