Exaltacion "Sally" Barba, 68, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 in Savannah, GA. Ms. Barba was born in the Philippines on September 14, 1944. She moved to Guam in 1989 and ultimately to Savannah in 1999. Shortly after moving to Savannah she began working at the food court of the Savannah Mall and at the time of her retirement was working at the food court of the Oglethorpe Mall. She was of Catholic faith. Ms. Barba was preceded in death by her husband, Julio Barba. She is survived by her daughters, Lailanie DeVega (Rhino) of Savannah and Euphemia Barba (Ferdie) of the Philippines; grandchildren, Ryan Christopher DeVega, Renee Lei DeVega Steekley (William), Rainier Louis DeVega, Randy DeVega, and Fernando Barba and numerous nieces and nephews in the Philippines. The family will be receiving friends Sunday from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Burial will take place in the Philippines.
