Finley (Pink) Perkins, 95, of Blytheville passed from this life Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at his home.
Born in Blytheville, AR to William and Margaret Bishop Perkins, he was a member of Woodland Corner Baptist Church for over 50 years. Pink retired from farming at the age of 92. Church, family and work were the most important things in his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ludie Mae Rogers Perkins; 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Raspberry and Pat Reed and husband, Patrick, both of Blytheville, AR; grandchildren, Teena Igleheart and husband, Joe, Jay Raspberry and wife, Faye and Jason Penn, all of Blytheville and Steven Penn and wife, Tricia of Fayetteville, AR; great grandchildren, Jessica Penn, Samantha Ward and husband, Kel and Zachary Penn, all of Fayetteville, AR; great great granddaughter, Eva Frances Ward of Fayetteville, AR; sister, Doris Perkins of Blytheville, AR and brother, Gene Perkins of Oklahoma City, OK.
Graveside services will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 1:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Mitchell King Sr. and Rev. Mitchell King Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm at Cobb Funeral Home. Online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
