Funeral services for Faustene "Tena" D. Bundick, 72, of Caldwell, are set for 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2011 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, with Pastor Corby Brizendine and Melvin Starling officiating. Interment will follow at the Bundick Cemetery. Visitation will be at Strickland Funeral Home from 3 to 8 p.m., Sunday, May 15, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Mrs. Bundick passed away on May 12, 2011 at her home in Caldwell. Pall bearers will be Kevin Bundick, Jonathan Pettit, Doug "Rusty" Burns, David Burns, Conagher Sanchez, Dakota Sanchez, Justin Bundick and Cody Ryan. Faustene was born July 23, 1938 to Authur George Duncan and Effie Pearl West Duncan, in Henderson, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Somerville. Faustene was a member of the AQHA and a quarter horse breeder. She enjoyed gardening, watching birds, especially hummingbirds and she was a Skip Bo queen. She married Glen T. Bundick on February 9, 1975 at the Independence Baptist Church in Independence, Texas, and worked in the medical industry as a medical technician in Houston, Texas at Hycel. Faustene is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Blevins & Peggy Bundick; daughters and sons-in-law, Athene & Eugene Vaughn, Viola "Vicki" & Doug Schmidt, Mary & Alex Sanchez; brothers and sister-in-law, Byron & Linda Duncan, Mozelle Duncan; sister, Viola Wallce; 13 grandchildren and spouses, Kevin & Debra Bundick, Tana & Steve Ryan, Marla & Frank Susik, Heath Landis, Kyra & Tommy Natho, Boyd & Treca Vaughn, Clayton & Phyllis Vaughn, Miller Vaughn, Christina & Jonathan Pettit, Doug "Rusty" Burns, David & Jennifer Burns, Conagher Sanchez, Dakota Sanchez; 18 great grandchildren and spouses, Shannon & Misha Dorofeev, Marcy Bundick, Justin Bundick, Amanda Ryan, Cody Ryan, Holly Hibbeler, Paeden Hibbeler, Jonathon Natho, Lauren & Neil Heard, Sherida Natho, Reagan Vaughn, Conner Vaughn, Bronson & Nichole Vaughn, Tiffany Vaughn, J Boyd Vaughn, Phillip Vaughn, Joshua Pettit, Madelyn Pettit; 8 great great grandchildren, Aaron Graham, Jonathan Condon, Joshua Condon, Hayden Condon, Colton Bundick, Cole Natho, McKenzy Heard and Tate Heard. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers, Curtis Duncan, AG Duncan, Dewayne Duncan; and son, Clifford "Ray" Prickett.
