Florence C. Akers

Florence C. Akers, a resident of the Inn at Greystone, Beckley, WV died at the Bowers Hospice House early Saturday morning, October 15, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Forrest J. Akers, her parents Cloyd and Annie Rogers Buskirk and by her brother, James Leonard Buskirk.
She is survived by her son, Forrest R. Akers of Fredericksburg, VA; and by her daughter, Patricia Lowe of Oak Hill, FL.
In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no visitation or service. The cremains will be interred at Blue Ride Memorial Gardens.
