I am so sorry to hear about the passing pf your mother. Your mom and dad new my mom, Marie (Mae) Henderson form the old neighborhood, Gage Park. Our moms kept in touch mostly with Christmas cards all the way up to my mom's passing on April 7, 2010.
I called your mother in December of 2010 after receiving her yearly Christmas Card to tell her of my Mother's passing. I remember Florence answering the phone, and once I told her

Your mom new because she didn't get a card from my mom that something was wrong.
Once again I am very sorry to hear about your Mother. May she rest in peace along with her husband, and your dad, Peter.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Michalewicz in the spring of 2011. She struck me as a strong independant woman and was a joy to talk to. Her house and yard were impeccable and I can remember hoping that I am able to live the kind of life she has lived. It was an honor to have met and talked with her.
