Florence Doyle Williams, 89, of the 2200 block of First Landing Lane, Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on January 3, 2012. Florence was preceded in death by the love of her life of 65 years, husband, Horace E. Williams, Sr.; and her parents, Thomas and Mae Doyle. She is survived by a son, Bill Williams and wife Bonnie, daughter, Sally Wood and husband Tim, grandson, John Fraser, Jr., granddaughter, Tricia Fraser, and four great grandchildren, all of Virginia Beach, VA. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. Burial will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. She was a lifelong animal lover and upon her request in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA, 3040 Holland Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23453 or online at www.vbspca.com.
