Florence L. (Ginger) Guay Fairfield, 90, wife of Francis Fairfield of 118 Lansfair Way, Greenville, SC passed away peacefully on January 6, 2012, at National Health Care, Mauldin, SC, following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Fairfield, formerly of Hudson, NH, Lakeland, FLA and Scottsdale/Mesa, AZ, was born on October 19, 1921.

Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Francis E. Fairfield; a daughter, Sherry L. Boucher and husband Joseph A. Boucher of Coronado, CA; son, Alan F. Fairfield, Greenville, SC; 6 grandchildren: Alan E. Fairfield, Tammy L. Penney, Thomas J. Fairfield, Angela F. Fairfield, Steven J. Boucher, Denise L. Boucher; and 19 great- grandchildren.

No formal visitation is planned.

Burial will be performed at a later date in the M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, SC

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of South Carolina, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville SC 29601
