Florence K. Turner
Easley – Florence Kapla Turner, 87, widow of Calvin D. Turner passed from this life Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in Alpharetta, GA.
Mrs. Turner was born in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Walter and Frances Kapla. She was a retired sales associate from Belk in Easley and was a founding member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pickens.
Survivors include a son Danny Turner of Easley; daughters, Diane Turner-Niles of Dahlonega, GA, and Nancy Caro of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a sister; Mary Cavala of Winfield Park, New Jersey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pickens with The Reverend Emmanuel Efiong officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Thursday at Dillard Funeral Home.
