Florence Lawrence

Florence Edith Lawrence, 92, of Lubbock passed away on Monday, December 20, 2010. She was born July 16, 1918 in Palacios, Texas. She married Raymond Leslie Lawrence. She was an Artist and Teacher, having taught children at the Lubbock Garden & Arts Center for many years. She was a member of Lubbockview Christian Church.

Her survivors include her husband, R. L. Lawrence of Lubbock; a son, Leslie Lawrence and his wife Jeannette of Carefree, Arizona; a granddaughter, Cloche; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Lubbockview Christian Church under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
