Floyd Lacy, 79, entered into eternal rest peacefully in his son's arms at his daughter's home in Stockton, with his children and some of his many grandchildren. He has joined his wife Mildred.
Floyd was born in Volga, South Dakota in 1932. He Joined the Navy in 1950 and served for three years. He married Mildred Wasson in 1954 and they lived in southern CA where they raised four children. Floyd worked at UCLA as a machinist. When Floyd and Millie retired they moved to San Andreas, CA. They did extensive traveling in their motor home, many times caravanning with friends to conventions while enjoying the splendors of America. Floyd was a Freemason for 37 years, a Hiram Award recipient, Past Monarch of Cinema Grotto, and five times Past Master of three different Lodges. He loved to tell jokes and stories. He was loved by many people and we will all miss him dearly.
Floyd is survived by his daughters, Dianna Whittaker & Mary Lacy-Chisholm and his sons George and Dennis Lacy, 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
