Floyd Arthur Harkins

Floyd Arthur Harkins, 79, passed away on January 19, 2011. Born October 4, 1931 in Oakland California, son of Merle Frazier Harkins and Vera Loraine Tanner Harkins. Floyd is survived by his sisters Mardell Elaine Whitten and Marlene Carol Whitten. He had many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and a baby sister. Floyd served in the Korean War in Army Intelligence doing aerial photography. His occupation involved electronics and computers. Floyd was an active member of the LDS Church. He served there in many capacities. Floyd loved animals and is buried across the street from his cat. Floyd will be missed. A viewing will be held Thursday, January 27th from 6-8 PM at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. The Funeral is Friday, January 28, 2011 at 12:00 PM at West Jordan Mountain View Stake, 2901 W. 9000 S. with a viewing from 11:00-12:00. The Interment is at the Mt. View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 S.
