Mrs. Frances Brown Prince, age 77 of Flippen, Georgia passed away November 8, 2011. She was born in Flippen, Georgia to the late Alfred Lee and Ethel Pearlie Salter Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Allen Prince, a son, Robert Allen Prince and a brother, Johnny Brown. She was of the Baptist faith and retired after 26 years with Dowling Textiles. Frances enjoyed cooking and sewing. Survivors include her children, Delorice (Cary) Melton of Jackson, Terry Prince of Waycross, Fae (Todd) Woodruff of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Tracy Mize, Brandon Woodruff and Robbie Prince; great grandchildren, Kelsey DeFronzo and Ryan Mize; sister, Grace Slauson of McDonough; brother, James (Belle) Brown of McDonough; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Todd Woodruff will officiate. Interment will follow at Flippen Cemetery.
