Frances E. Schnepp, 92, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Van Wert, OH, Frances worked as a cook and first teachers aid with FWCS and the Head Start program, retiring in 1983. She was a volunteer for 25 years at Matthew 25, a reading tutor at the Reading Connection and a member of B.O.B. "Believers on Bikes" as well as Abate and the Gold Wing club. Bob and Frances rode for over 27 years. Frances never met a stranger and had a great capacity for love. Surviving are her daughters, Carol (Norval) Hull, Judy Bruns and Bobbi (Butch) Kinnison all of Fort Wayne; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her parents Albert E. and Iva Mae Smith; husband, Robert Schnepp in 2004; son-in-law, Bill Bruns in 1985. Funeral service is 2pm Monday at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 8010 W Jefferson Blvd, Pastor Martin Gehring officiating, with calling 1 hour prior. Visitation also Sunday from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
