Frances Isabelle Mew BellamyMyrtle BeachFrances Isabelle Mew Bellamy age 94, wife of the late Thomas Vernon Bellamy, Sr. died peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 02, 2009.Born in Myrtle Beach, SC she was a daughter of the late James Avanda and Frances Isabelle Stalvey Mew. She was a charter member of Socastee Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from Horry County School District. She was predeceased by one daughter, Frances Isabelle Bellamy and one great-granddaughter, Erica Bellamy. Survivors include seven daughters, Hilda McCormick and Chris of Myrtle Beach, Joyce Brock and Roger of Myrtle Beach, Elouise Sawyer and Levon of Myrtle Beach, Louise Cribb and Elbert of Awendaw, Cornelia Teeters and Don of Myrtle Beach, Irene Bellamy of Murrells Inlet, Anna Jane Suber and Tommy of Myrtle Beach; three sons, Thomas Bellamy and Judy of Conway, Larry Bellamy and Pat of Myrtle Beach, Nelson Bellamy of Myrtle Beach; sixteen grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren three sisters, Hylia Stalvey, Elizabeth Jones and Nina Ree Lee all of Myrtle Beach and one brother, Jack Mew of Dillon.A funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Socastee Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Tony Martin, Rev. George Cashwell and Rev. Jimmy Floyd officiating. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Mausoleum.The family will receive friends Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.Memorials may be made to Regency Hospice, 11943 Grandhaven Dr. Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 or Boy Scouts Troop #856, 4656 Socastee Blvd. Socastee, SC. 29588.
