Frances Rose Czarnatowicz, 86, of the Brookfield Glen section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Barn Hill Convalescence Center, Newton, NJ with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Czarnatowicz was a registered nurse working at the former Alexian Brothers Hospital, Elizabeth, NJ. Born on June 26, 1924 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Rudolf and Anna Dynowska Maresz. She had lived in Clark and Toms River, NJ before moving to White Township six years ago. Mrs. Czarnatowicz was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ, and was a member of the Altar-Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Polish Society, Toms River, NJ. Mrs. Czarnatowicz was predeceased by her husband Theodore John Czarnatowicz who died on September 14, 2004, and a brother, Emil Maresz who died in 2009. Surviving are a son, Theodore of Cincinnati, OH; a daughter, Amy Van Kirk and her husband Robert of Washington, NJ; three granddaughters, Megan, Lindsey and Brianna; a brother, Arthur Maresz of East Windsor, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in her memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 532 Lafayette Road, Sparta, NJ 07871.
