Frances Roys Nov. 21, 1926 to Jan. 31, 2013 passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family, friends and caregivers. She immigrated from Slovenija in 1956 to her beloved San Mateo county. She and her husband Konrad showed that hard work and a generous spirit could not only build a good life, but could endear them in the hearts of all they met. They adopted her brothers girls after the passing of their mother and raised and loved them as their own. She taught them the ways of the old country as well as the new. Known to all for her amazing cooking, no one ever left "Aunties" hungry or without a care package. She kept her home and garden impeccably beautiful. Her kitties were her other children and she doted on them morning and night. She is survived by daughter Marija and her husband Steve Reed, daughter Lillijana and her husband Dan Dilts, grandchildren Sabrina and Aidan Dilts along with countless friends and family both here and abroad. As she requested there will be a private service. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
