Francis Delores Sims was born on November 4, 1953, in Ferris, Texas to the parentage of Samuel L Green and Mary L Green.

She grew up in Ferris, Texas, where she attended and graduated from Ferris High School.

Frances left her earthly home on Sunday, December 4, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel L Green and Mary L. Green; and two brothers, Robert Green and Curtis Brinson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Deacon T.J. Sims; two children, Lady Monica Harris (Pastor Marcus), and Minister Terry Jerome Sims (Genise); eight grandchildren, Jessica Sims-Green, Tristan Sims-Green, Markayla Harris, Amelia Sims, Edrik Sims, Monat Hiners, Marcus Harris, Jr., and Shaetavia Johnson; one great-grandchild, MaRyah Jones; one great-aunt, Pauline Green; two sisters, Icyrene Carey (Marvin) and Ruby Cherry (Jesse); one brother, Samuel Green, Jr. (Mary); and a host of nieces and nephews.
