Mr. and Mrs. Harrington have been dear friends of our family for many, many years. I have so many memories of our family's time with the Harrington family growing up, whether it was cookouts, sports, or getting to ride their cool motorbikes. Mr. Harrington was like the perfectly fun uncle who cared enough to give us (5 boys) the business. I will never forget about a week after 911 when they attended my parents 40th wedding anniversary party and he made me stream tears of laughter when he commented on the Alderdice boy's wives. He said, "I don't understand how you Alderdice boys have such beautiful blonde wives with the mugs you have. Doesn't make sense, but congratulations."
Mr. Fran Harrington will be missed so much by us all!

Fran shared my Dad's birthdate, Jan 21, but not the year. I have many memories of Fran back in the old days days. We played cards, ate out and just generally had fun together. I am sure he will be missed greatly by Dona and the kids. You have my greatest sympathy at this sad time.

So many years and so very many wonderful memories of such a "fun" uncle. As my sister shared...................the word brat to many would not be so kind, but to my uncle I accepted it as a word of endearment. I hear him say it and it was "love from the heart". I can't see a candy bar wrapped in "money paper" or gold chocolate coins or a toy money making machine, etc. without thinking of "Uncle Fran". AND the word
