Mr. Francis Gayle Robbins

Francis Gayle Robbins, 69, of Independence, Missouri, passed away December 26, 2010. Gayle was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on January 1, 1941 to Delbert F. and Theo E. Hall Robbins. He retired as an over-the-road Driver from Yellow Freight Lines, after 25 years of service. He was a member of Yellow Freight Retiree’s and the Church of Christ of Cave Springs, Arkansas. Gayle was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing for Crappie. He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Robbins. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Robbins of Independence, Missouri; daughters and son-in-laws, Deborah & Jon Ramsey of Odessa, Texas, Stephanie & John Gregg of Lincoln, Arkansas; son, Rusty Robbins of Conway, Arkansas; step-daughter and son-in-law, Lisa & Tom Jacobs of Liberty, Missouri; step-son, Christopher Beavers of Kansas City, Missouri; his mother, Theo “Toda” Robbins of Huntsville, Arkansas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to his family.
