Francis Gennaro LaMorte, of Mendham, passed away on Sunday, December 19th at Morris View Health Care Center, Morris Twp. He was 87. Born in Castlenuove di Conza, Campania, Italy on Saturday, December 1, 1923, he was the son of the late Guiseppe and Pasqualina (Custode) LaMorte. Francis was employed as a Mechanical Designer at Honeywell International. He served his Country in World War II from 1943 - 1946 in the US Army. He was the widower of Carmella (Scaliella) LaMorte. Francis is survived by his daughter Jacqueline A. Nicholson, Boca Raton, FL; son Dr. Francis LaMorte Jr. of Morristown; brother Gerrardo LaMorte, Basking Ridge, NJ; sister Helen Miceli, Ocean Port, NJ. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
