Francis T. Heimburger, age 91, of Olathe, passed away on Nov.30, 2011. He was a Veteran of the Air Force Air Corps and he served in World War II. He was a past member of the Overland Park Fire Department and was previously employed by the US Postal Service. He was predeceased by his wife Rose. He is survived by his son, Ronald Heimburger and daughter, Gayle Sheerer and grandchildren Douglas and Kimberly Heimburger and Lisa Edwards. A private family service was held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery on December 5th. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities, Kansas City, Inc.
