EEllis II, Francis J. , passed away Jan. 2, 2012 at age 90. Born in Brooklyn, NY Dec. 4, 1921 to father Francis and mother Helen Ellis. he graduated high school and served in the European Theatre during WW II and was discharged honorably. He married Marjorie Louise Troise on May 14, 1950 at St. Hugh's of Lincoln Catholic Church.
An earnest and hardworking father and husband, Frank loved playing golf and working at Roosevelt Race Track and Tampa Downs Race Track. He loved life and he loved his wife and family. He is survived by his wife and five sons. James (Gale), Mark (Marion), Keith (Kathy), Francis, and Michael (Diana).
Seven grand children, Jameson, Melissa, Max, Leah, Travis, Matina and Maria. Four great grand children, Travis, Jada, Madison and Miyah.
Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers William and Harold "Harley" Ellis
A kind and loving man, he will be fondly remembered by his friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to St. Vincent de Paul.
