Mr. Francis Joseph Sheehy

Francis Joseph Sheehy, 83, of Centerville, MA, died April 21, 2011, at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, FL.
Born in Waterbury, CT, he has been a winter visitor to Stuart for 19 years.
He was a retired Senior Vice President and had worked for Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation and Old Republic.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Second to his love for family and friends was his love for golf. He had been a member of Avon Country Club of Farmington, CT; Andover Country Club of Andover, MA; Old Barnstable Country Club of Barnstable, MA; Miles Grant Country Club of Stuart, FL; Hartford Club of Hartford, CT; and B C Club of Boston.
Survivors include his wife Harriet Sheehy of Stuart, Fl and Centerville, MA; son, Steven Sheehy of Delray Beach; daughters, Beverly Canning of Middlefield, CT; Carol Carver of Middlebury, CT; Colleen Lynch of Kensington, CT; step-son, David Wells of Billerica, MA; step-daughters, Lisa Lannan of Lincoln, RI; Linda Stehle of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Anne Copetto of Manchester, CT; and 13 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held in Connecticut and Massachusetts at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Homes Young and Prill Chapel in Stuart.
