Francis D. Mark, Jr., age 59, of 17411 12th Road, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 2:35 p.m., on Sunday, September 18, 2011, at his home. Francis was born on June 9, 1952, in South Bend, Indiana, to Francis David and Beverly (Crowel) Mark, Sr. Francis had been a truck driver for 40 years. He enjoyed watching and participating in car races. Francis had been a resident of Plymouth since 1982. Francis is survived by his sons, Francis David Mark, III of Rochester, Indiana and Shawn David (Trisha) Mark of Bourbon, Indiana; also surviving is Francis's mother, Beverly; his brothers, Danney Mark of Fish Lake, Indiana, Donald Mark of Plymouth, and Dennis Mark of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Francis was preceded in death by his father, Francis David Mark, Sr. and his two sisters, Delores, and Gail. There will be no visitation or funeral services. The Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana, assisted the family with the arrangements. Memories may be shared at www.vangilderfuneralhome.com
