Frank G. Herrera, 86, passed on January 26, 2012. Born on February 17, 1925 in Mexico and raised in Arizona. A World War II Veteran (Army). Lived in Wilmington, CA. Survived by his wife Dorothy; 6 children: Thomas (Andrea), Linda, Antonia (Rey), Sylvia (Ruben), Joe (Angela) & Dottie; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his sister, Teresa H. Cañez; survived by his sisters, and brother-in-law, Amelia Montaño, Olga and Charlie Gutierrez; many nieces, nephews; and extended family and many friends. Ceremony will take place on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 9am, All Souls Mortuary Chapel, Interment at Wilmington Cemetery following immediately. Frank (husband, father, brother, cousin, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather & friend) will be extremely missed by his entire family and the Wilmington and South Bay Communities. In Lieu of flowers, Frank would say "SAVE YOUR MONEY", or you may make a donation to his favorite charity, City of Hope or Lion's International.
