HARRINGTON, JR. FRANK HENRY. - age 81, of Knoxville, passed away 4:30 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. Mr. Harrington was a retired home designer and a US Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank, Sr. and Genevieve Harrington; and brother, Jim Harrington. Survivors: wife, Nancy Coram Harrington of Knoxville; children, Vicki Barnett (Mike) of Paris, TN, Frank Thomas Harrington (Rachael) of Marshfield, WI, James Harrington of Knoxville, Laura Rauhuff (Andy) also of Knoxville, Mella Drahuschak (Bill) of Houston, TX, and Mara Speelman (Steve) of Knoxville; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild; sister, Martha Lois Whitehead (Ken) of Knoxville; and sister-in-law, Betty Harrington of Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the InterFaith Health Clinic, 315 Gill Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37917 or the Wounded Warrior Project, 223 Rosa L. Parks Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203. The family and friends will meet 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 for a graveside service and inurnment at 11:30 a.m. Military Honors will be performed by the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway.
