Frank J. Kerze, Jr.

Frank J. Kerze Jr., 85, of Euclid, passed away Aug. 14, 2012, at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center. Born Sept. 13, 1926, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Euclid for the past 58 years. Frank was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survivors are his two sons, Frank E. (Sharon) Kerze and James (Carolyn) Kerze; grandchildren, Frank J. (April) Kerze, Jaclyn M. Kerze, David (Marina) Kerze and Lauren (Eric) Chatal; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Sabrina and Gabriella; sister, Dorothy Drensek; nieces, Sandra and Debbie; and nephew, Jeff. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Emilie (Kopchak); and brother, Edward. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, Sts. Robert and William, 367 E. 260 St., Euclid. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
