Frank L. Reid, 86, of Hightstown passed away Monday at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Cranbury, Mr. Reid was a lifelong resident of Hightstown. He was an honorably discharged US Navy Veteran serving during WWII. Mr. Reid retired in 1990 as a driver from GE Astro after 28 years. He was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Hightstown for over 63 years. He also belonged to VFW Post 5700, Destroyer Escort Sailors Association (Serving on Stockdale #399) and the Autumn Club. Son of the late Frank L. and Dora Reid, he is survived by his wife Emily R. Reid; his sister Minnie Hallock; nephews, Gary Hallock and his wife Mary and John Cannon and Marie Zurwick; nieces, Kathleen Margerum and her husband Robert, Dianna Moore and her husband Ron and Barbara Golden Keith and her husband Michael; and a great niece and nephew Christopher and Ashley Hallock. Funeral services will be held 11:30am on Friday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown. Family and friends may call Friday from 9:30am until the time of service at the funeral home.
