Frank Panza, 82, of Delray Beach, FL died peacefully on February 23, 2012 at Delray Beach Hospital surrounded by his beloved family. He was born July 24, 1929 in Yonkers NY to the late Nichola and Rosaria (Buccieri) Panza. Frank was a decorated Mt. Vernon, NY Detective who served from 1958 to 1985. He loved to golf and enjoyed his grandchildren. Frank is survived by his loving companion of 31 years Rose Einstein, daughters; Susan (Matt) Capalbo of Bethel, CT, Mary Panza of Cornwall, NY, Joanne (Jim) Juliano of North Attleboro, MA, Margie (Brian) Bako of Cornwall, NY, and son Frank Panza Jr, (MVFD) of Mount Vernon, NY. Extended family; Michael (Stacey) Einstein of Dix Hills, NY and Peter (Debbie) Einstein of Dubai. Frank was lovingly known as Pop-Pop or Opa to 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Peter, sister Nelia and former wife Mary (Lyons) Panza. As per Frank's wishes there will be no viewing. Mass of the Resurrection Friday 10am Church of the Sacred Heart, 10 Lawton Ave, Hartsdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
