Fred W. Blanch, Jr., 93, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away October 22, 2009. He was an Army Captain serving in WW II. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty Hedges Blanche, daughters Gai Williams and Jill Benish; son Gregg Blanche, daughter-in-law Mrs. Richard (Anne) Blanche; two grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Blanche.
Fred was an active member of the Saddle & Sirloin Shooting Club where the memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, October 31. The Club address is 14401 Homes Rd., Kansas City, MO 64145.
