Freda E. Zahner, age 83, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on June 27, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank Franklin and Ida May Miller Faircloth and wife of the late Bernard Stanley Zahner. She was a resident of Baltimore for 45 years where she retired from the county school system and was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Forest Hill, MD. Mrs. Zahner is survived by her son, Bernard L. Johnson Jr. of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Ginger E. Roberts of Bel Air, MD; stepchildren, Michael B. Zahner and Kathie Deinlein both of Baltimore, MD; brother, Junior Faircloth of Martinsburg, WV; sisters, Doris McGowan, Ruby Whitman and Lillian Custer all of Martinsburg, WV and Eleanor Atkins of MO; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in memory of Mrs. Zahner to the American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236-0025 and include senders name and address or St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 533 Jarrettsville Road, Forest Hill, MD 21085.
