Frederick Douglas Walton

Frederick Douglas Walton, 86, of Russellville, died July 30, 2012, at Suncoast Hospice at Palm Harbor, Florida, near his winter home in Oldsmar. He was born September 20, 1925, in Mitchum, England to Frederick Charles Walton and Rachel Victoria Walton. He was a mail dispatcher during World War II in London, England, and earned his degree as a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry.
Survivors include his wife of 5 years, Sandra Victoria Walton of Oldsmar; a daughter, Sarah Jane Walton Holtzman of Los Angeles, California; two grandchildren, Alexandra Jane Holtzman and Erick Douglas Holtzman, both of Los Angeles; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Robert Howard Holtzman, Erick Douglas Holtzman, Alexandra Holtzman, and Carl Brucker, Jr.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2012, at Booher Cemetery near Russellville, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. The Rev. Brian Brock will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m., on Friday, August 10, 2012, at the funeral home.
