Dr. Frederick G. Doran

FREDERICK G. DORAN, M.D.

Dr. Frederick G. Doran, 83, died October 10, 2009 at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.

He was born in Somerville, MA and lived in Vero Beach for 11 years coming from West Falmouth, MA.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during the World War II.

Dr. Doran was a graduate of Boston University Medical School.

Dr. Doran was a member of Vero Beach Yacht Club and the Grand Harbor Club, Vero Beach.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Doran of Vero Beach; sons, Capt. Rick Doran, U.S. Navy (Ret). Of Virginia Beach, VA, Capt. David John Doran, U.S. Navy of Arlington, VA; daughters, Susan Ryan of Hingham, MA and Maureen Doran of Boston, MA; 6 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Boston University Medical School, 72 E. Concord Street, Development Office L219, Boston, MA 02118 in memory of Dr. Frederick G. Doran.

SERVICES: Visitation will be 4-7 pm on October 22, 2009 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. on October 23, 2009 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
