FREEMAN LINUS FLETCHER 89 of Colcord,OK passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR.

Mr. Fletcher was born September 18, 1923 in the Chamberlain Community of Delaware County, OK; he was the son of William and Ollie Fletcher. Freeman married his wife of 66 years Arzela Marie Ledford in Columbus, KS in 1946. Freeman served his Country in WWII; he was in the U.S. Army 339th Infantry Division. A member of the Moseley Regular United Baptist Church, American Legion – Anderson Key Post and a member of the Colcord Riding Club.

Douglas Fletcher & wife Karen Siloam Springs, AR
Onnie Lynn Fletcher Houston, TX
David Fletcher & wife Dana Colcord, OK

12 Grandchildren 23 Great Grandchildren

2 Sisters Lois Jenks & husband Eugene Vinta, OK
Nova Brown Sacramento, CA

Freeman is also survived by numerous family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Scott Eric Fletcher, 2 grandchildren Cynthia Lou Teafatiller and Christopher David Fletcher, 2 brothers Marvin and Onnie Fletcher and a sister Nola Edwards.

The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 4pm – 6pm.

The funeral will be held at the Moseley Regular United Baptist Church in West Siloam Springs, OK on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Burial will be held at Johnson Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, OK under the direction of Backstrom – Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR
