Mr. George Martin Wiley III, 72, a resident of Port Saint Lucie, FL and Essex, CT, passed away in his home, January 10th, 2012.

Mr. Wiley was born in Watertown, NY son of Robert Hoffman Wiley and Melissa Adams Wiley and a 1961 graduate of Union College, Schenectady, NY. Marty loved his 36 year career with Loctite Corporation, Newington, Ct and retired after 10 years in Hong Kong, Vice President of Southern Asia/Pacific Region. He was a talented executive that believed "Nothing ever happens until someone sells something". Admired as a gifted mentor professionally and personally, he loved sailing, woodworking, fixing things, golfing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Yacht clubs in the US and Hong Kong and spent countless hours fixing, sailing and cruising on the boats he owned and loved throughout his life. Some of his favorite times were the days and nights he spent on the Long Island Sound with his wife, and at Lake George in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY.

Mr. Wiley is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia M. Wiley; his children, Tamara Wiley, (Pat Mallinger) Chicago, IL, W. Scott Wiley, (Sharon Wiley) Salt Lake City, UT, Cameron Wiley, (Sahar Hassan) St Paul, MN, Daureen Dannenberger, (Patrick Shanley) Sylmar, CA, sister, Melissa Geiger (Howard Geiger), New York, NY, and brother, William Wiley (Lynn Wiley), Grantham, NH, Patricia's children, Kenny Antonson, Plymouth, MA, Raymond Antonson, Concord, NC, Scott Antonson, Farmington, CT, Douglas Antonson, Huntersville, NC, and 11 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, (January 20, 2012) at the First Congregational Church, 2401 SE Sidonia Street, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34952. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1100 East Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, FL 34996 or the American Lung Association, 1111 U.S. Highway 1, Suite 108, Stuart, FL 34994. A memorial service will be held in Connecticut at the Essex Yacht Club, Essex, Ct. on June 29 at 2 p.m.
