G. Robert "Bob" Pugh, 76, of North Apollo, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, in Lifecare Hospital, Monroeville.

Born on October 18, 1936, in Apollo he was a son of the late George and Rosamond (Reynolds) Pugh and lived in North Apollo most of his life.

Bob had been employed by NUMEC as a technician and Dobel Labs. He was the owner of Pugh Sound Systems whose mission was to help churches clearly proclaim the message of Jesus Christ. His mission through Pugh Sound Systems was to follow the teaching of Romans 10:17; "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." He told many about God's love for them and helped those less fortunate. He not only enjoyed listening to music but also creating it, so he started the Bobby Martin Band where he played the electric bass and fiddle. Bob also enjoyed cooking and family gatherings. He was a member of the Kiski Valley Assembly of God Church.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Curtis, and beloved mother –in-law, Henrietta Finnigan.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Gail E. (Martin) Pugh of Leechburg; 3 daughters, Diana (James) Barclay of North Apollo, Vicki (Gary) Peterman of Gilpin Twp. and Amy (Dean) Nyiri of Greensburg; 2 sons, James (Pam) Pugh of Newnan GA and Pastor Todd (Tina) Pugh of Vandergrift; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Shirley (Jim) Shuster of Vandergrift and Lilly (George) Reynolds of Greensburg.

In honor of Bob's wishes there will be no public visitation. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 25th, at 11 am in the Kiski Valley Assembly of God Church in Leechburg with his son Pastor Todd Pugh officiating. Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Curran Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 300 Market Street, Leechburg.

The family requests memorial contributions be made in Bob's memory to the Samaritan's Purse, Project Operation Christmas Child, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000.
