Gladys Marion (Seeliger) Erpelding the daughter of Charles and Susan (Jones) Seeliger was born March 31, 1914 in Union, Iowa. She died on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at her daughter's home in Aurora, Colorado at the age of 98.

She received her education and graduated from Maple Hill High School. She then attended beauty school in Wisconsin.

In February of 1938, she was united in marriage to Joe Erpelding in Estherville. Gladys worked as a beautician out of her home for over seventy years. Joe passed away in 1964. She also worked with the Henry-Olson Funeral Home for over forty years.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church where she was the church organist for over thirty years. Gladys was also a member of Catholic Daughter's; Wa-tan-ye; and Degree of Honor.

Left to cherish Gladys' memory are her daughters, Judy Bonser of Aurora, Colorado; Nancy Farm and her husband, Burt of Memphis, Tennessee; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild; brother, Cecil Seeliger and his wife, Margaret of Estherville

She has been preceded in death by her husband, parents; sister, Ethel and son-in-law, Earl.
