Gail Clarkston Crusco, 70, of Greenville, passed away Friday evening, October 21, 2011 at McCall Hospice House after a lengthy illness.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Orville Anderson Clarkston and Reba Southerlin Clarkston.

Gail attended Furman University and later graduated from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia.

Gail was a very gifted and creative artist who worked in oils, acrylics and stained glass. She was also a master gardener and a member of Mary Truesdale Garden Club and Laurens Road Garden Club. Gail taught reading for the Greenville Literacy Association and was a former Realtor for many years. She was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church, the Baptist Women's Association and assistant for the Good News Club.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 47 years, Tony Crusco, of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Robin Crusco of Lyman; her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Wyatt Shennan of Greenville; and her beloved grandchildren, Caroline, Connor, Corrine, Chandler, Mallory and James.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 25th at 2:30pm at Brushy Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Ralph Carter officiating. Interment to follow at Graceland Cemetery, West.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:15pm Tuesday at the church.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Brushy Creek Baptist Church, Taylors.
