South Range
Gary E. Komula, 45, a resident of South Range, passed away suddenly early Wednesday morning September 21, 2011.
He was born on September 7, 1966, in Hancock, a son of the late Paul R. and Mildred H. (Yrjana) Komula. Gary had resided in Chassell and attended the Chassell School, Elo and attended the Pelkie School, and Berrien Springs where he attended the Berrien Springs High School.
On August 18, 1984 he was united in marriage to the former Dorothy Warren. The couple moved to make their home in Chassell until moving to South Range two years ago.
Gary was a mechanic and had worked for Mike's Auto in Chassell for the past 25 years.
Also preceding him in death was his brother Bruce Komula.

His children: Gregory Komula of Oklahoma
Edward Komula of Chassell
Jessica Komula of Chassell
His grandson: Gavin Komula of Ironwood
His brothers: Mark Komula
Paul Komula
Roger Komula
Brian Komula
His sister: Lynn (Dan) Landen
Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
A memorial service for Gary will be held 11 am Saturday September 24, 2011, at Hope Fellowship Church of Houghton with Pastor John Kangas to officiate.
