What a wonderful, big hearted guy. He was unique, with a great sense of humor. We will miss you Bird.

I was shocked to hear of Garys passing.. I worked with Gary at the GE..He always was quick to put a smile on any ones face he came in contact with.. I will always remember Gary as a guy with a quick wit and a big smile...

I met Gary many years ago when he married my Sister Michelles best friend Marion. I was just maybe 8yrs old. I then went to Mont Pleasant High School with Gary's Sister Lynn. I later worked with Gary's other Sister Sherry and Lynn at the Days Inn. Then just about 7yrs ago, I met Ann Mesec-Gary's second wife. She worked for me at the Coffee Beanery. It's weird how people come in and out of your life. I probably didn't know Gary as well as most people, but I did know people who loved him deeply and in that way, my connection to Gary was strong. I want to express my condolences to everyone in Gary's family and circle of friends. He was a good man and many people had lots of good to say about him. I know he held a special place in Ann's heart and he children as well. Lynn, Sherry, Gary, Marion and the entire Mesec Family know you are in my prayers today and always. God Bless you all.

To all the family, friends and supporters sorry for your loss, Although I didn't know Gary as well as everyone else did, i know he was a really funny guy and loved by a lot of people, he thought about everyone else and brought joy to so many... he will be missed everytime i eat a chocolate covered cherry and everyday after that... he may be gone but he will be with us all forever, in our hearts because memories

I am very sad to learn of Gary's passing. I hope to give you all a little comfort in knowing that Gary even at work was a funny guy and as selfless as you could imagine:) Gary never needed a reason to have a party at work he just arranged them!
I will be thinking of him as Christmas passes but will keep in mind that Heaven needed a "BIG BIRD" and our loss is Gods Gain.
