Gary William Evans 60 of Clarksville, formerly of Springdale died January 27, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born July 12, 1952 in Fayetteville to James and Edna Evans. He owned and operated Heinie's Steak House and the Fireside Inn in Springdale. Gary also worked for Arvest Bank, Nelms Automotive and Steve Smith Country. He was baptized at Robinson Avenue Church of Christ and later ministered at the Samaritan House in Rogers and Springdale as well as Hilltop Bible Church in Clarksville.
He was preceded in death by his wife Glenda Evans in 2009. He is survived by his daughter: Kimber Jungles and husband Jay of Bentonville, His mother Edna Evans of Springdale, three sisters: Sandra Jacobs of Clarksville, Deniese Evans of No. Little Rock, and Beverly Cobb of Manhattan, KS, one brother James Evans, Jr. of Springdale and his beautiful granddaughter Kayla Jungles.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, burial will follow at Bluff Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
