Geneva Irene (Kugler) Bonar, passed away peacefully January 17, 2012. Born December 26, 1917 in Hardin, MO to Henry & Frances B. Kugler. She graduated from Richmond High in 1935 as valedictorian. Attending Central Missouri College, she graduated in 1947 with a degree in teaching.
Geneva was preceded in death by husband, Carl in 1977, parents, and sister, Carmen. An active member of Avondale United Methodist Church since 1962 and a member of UMW which she also served as President. She was a member LaJoppa Garden Club since 1969. An avid world traveler and ballroom dancer, she also loved gardening and birds. She is survived by one son, Jack (Terri); granddaughters, Brooke and Taylor; a half brother, Charlie Reed (Carol) of Tennessee; nephews, Joe and Randy Ligon; niece, Rhonda Ligon and many loving great nieces and nephews. Services will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 N. Antioch Rd on Friday, January 20th with visitation from 9-10:30 am, services immediately following. Burial in Kingston, MO.
