Taylor, Geneva, Thomas, age 83, of Plano, Texas passed away peacefully on September 8, 2011 at Heritage Gardens Nursing Home. She was born on July
31, 1928 in Tallahassee, Florida to her parents, Isaah Thomas and Maude Thomas. Geneva was one of 5 children. She married James Taylor in Tallahassee, Florida on December 5, 1944. They had six children. She was a longtime resident of Dallas, TX. for twenty years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. Geneva will be remembered by children; three sons, James (Marva) Taylor, of Bradley, IL, John (Yolanda) Taylor of Pearland, TX, Kenneth (Lisa) Taylor, of Houston, TX; three daughters, Deborah (Tommy) Thomas of Lewsiville, TX, Shirley Taylor and Valerie Taylor of Plano, TX, sister, Audrey-Wade of Chicago, IL, brother, John Thomas, of Pennsville, NJ and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Taylor, parents, Isaah and Maude Thomas, and brothers, Bill Williams and Calvin Thomas. Relatives and friends are invited for the Memorial Service Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Metrocrest Funeral Home.
