I was flipping through my Faith Alive newsletter when I saw a familar name--George Beall. I immediately went to my computer and googled his name. There was George's picture. I smiled. George did several re-model projects for me on my house several years ago. I chose him because I could tell he was a man of honor and a man of perfection when it came to quality of work. We had confidence in what we were accomplishing because of his good teaching and direction. George also had a sense of humor, and although building a home is a serious undertaking, he also made it fun and enjoyable. I will never forget how lucky we were to have met and worked with such a fine gentleman and a wonderful professional. He will surely be missed.

We have known George for many years through Tracey's work with him on the Builders Trust Board. He was always the most wonderful, sweet man to work with. He was an impressive man who served his country, his community, his friends, and his family. We could all certainly use a lot more like him. Our condolences and prayers go out to Mary and the entire family. Godspeed George.

George got involved with Habitat shortly after I did and it became apparent right away that he cared and he knew what he was doing. We will miss his sage advice, his calm demeanor, and his good humor.

We hired George to perform some remodeling of our home in the late 1980's. Four skylights (two venting in each bathroom and two in our great room) plus installation of windows in our formal dining room and master bedroom. He was forward thinking in his design of the venting skylights. His integrity and pride in workmanship spoke volumes about the type of person he was. He was modest and unassuming. We've live in the house now for 25 years and

George has certainly left his mark on this earth in our home and many others across New Mexico. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Norman assisted on two or three Habitat crews when George was the captain. Norman deeply respected his knowledge, his caring and his commitment. It was a pleasure working with him. May your happy memories comfort you. May God grant you peace and understanding.

George captured my heart with his unwavering grace and dignity in the face of unimaginable challenges of Parkinson's Disease. His gentle smile, kind eyes and constantly cooperative attitude were inspiring indeed. Our world was certainly enriched by his life, presence and legacy. Thank you for the opportunity to meet this rare man. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary, Nancy, Sandy and their families.
