George Lewis Waleszonia, 72, of Little Rock, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, July 19, 2011. He was born on November 2, 1938. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Waleszonia; Mother, Sadie Ubergang and Sister, Sammie Riley.
George is survived by two siblings; Doyle (Donna) Waleszonia and Margaret Dennis. He was a devoted husband of 52 years to his wife JoAnn (Hickey). A loving father to his two sons; Keith and Mark (Brenda); and daughter Kelly Shirley (Joe). A wonderful grandfather to his seven grandchildren; Josh Masoner, Sarah, Zachary, and Corporal Brandon (Mandy) Waleszonia, Bailee, Lacee and Joseph Shirley and his three great-grandchildren; Logan Masoner, Brody and Bella Waleszonia. He was loved by many nieces, nephews and everyone that knew him.
Visitation will be at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, located at: 10200 Hwy 5 North in Alexander, Arkansas on Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 3:00P.M until 5:00P.M.
Services will be held at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, July 25, 2011 at 10:30 A.M., with burial to follow at Ivy Chapel Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas.
