George Lutz, age 91, of Raytown, MO, passed away on December 27, 2011. He was born on August 13, 1920 in St. Joseph, MO, the son of Daisy and Jess Andy Lutz.
Survivors include his sons, Kelly (Linda) Lutz of Lee's Summit, MO and Kurt Martin Lutz of Springfield, MO; three grandchildren, Kyle (Wailohia) of Alexandria, VA, Kelsey and Keegan Lutz; nephew, Martin Walker Wingfield (Kay) of Lee's Summit, MO; sister in laws, Jane Motz of Scottsdale, AZ and Martha Ann Kelly of Plano, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Evelyn and one sister, Josephine Wingfield.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be held from 9:30 until time of service. Burial will be held in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10580 Barkley St, #400, Overland Park, KS 66212.
