Nerheim, George, Sr., "Smiley" Age 82 of S. Mpls. Passed away peacefully February 2, 2009 surrounded by family. Retired employee, Minneapolis School Board and a Veteran WWII, U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by parents, Torbjorn and Marie. Survived by loving wife, Lorraine (nee Guck); children, George Edward Nerheim, Jr. and Debra Nerheim Cunningham (Philip Pitman); granddaughter, Desiree Cunningham; sister, Pearl Romfo; brother, Floyd (Connie) Nerheim and by many other relatives and friends. Service Saturday 1 p.m. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt- Hauge) 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South. Visitation 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Memorials preferred.
