George Preston Pena passed away prematurely at age 62 on December 16, 2011. Preston was always inquisitive. He was a history and geography buff, and loved sports trivia and the Internet. Preston served in the infantry division in the Vietnam war. His favorite pastimes were keeping in touch with old Army buddies and GWHS classmates, going to lunch with friends, and going to bookstores. He loved the sunshine and loved to travel. He was a good listener, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife Louise, his sister Barbara, her husband Gregory and son Gabriel, cousins Christie, Norma and Helen and their husbands Keith, Ric, and Kirby, mother-in-law Toni Ng, in-laws Kingston and Doreen Lee, Joe and Pat McAuley, and Linda Ng, niece Angie Lee, nephews Chris Lee and Tony McAuley, great nephew Myles Rex, best friends Edwin and his son Enrico, and Lily and her son Jon, and several godchildren. He will be greatly missed and will be forever in our hearts.
